It's 2:00am. I've just entered the mainland of Borneo after an evening as the 1st foreigner among a distant band of Sea Gypsies - citizens of no country - living on wooden slats above the waters.
Humans are delightful. The promise inherent within us remains unfulfilled. But at our core we are an incredible species.
All I want is to continue conducting the public discussion that I was conducting around the world after Rabbi Noach Weinberg asked me to.
Hasbara does not mean today what it meant when I created “Israel Update” under Rav Noach’s guidance. Genuine Hasbara is non-existent on the globe today, and none of us are safer for it.
It's hard to be heard in the world today unless I critique someone else. Today however I will refrain from doing so. To understand why, please read Isaiah 58 onward from the point where this video ends.
I will only say that I quit hasbara when bad money got involved and that I can and will return to it when good money replaces it.
