People talk about "God" as if they know what they're talking about.

They say that they believe in God, don't believe in God, love God, hate God, etc.

From Rambam and my own perspective this is gobbledegook.

As a master of Torah and Philosophy, Rambam cared primarily about what "God" actually is.

Living in 2023 and of more mundane makeup I am primarily concerned about what people mean when they speak about God.

God is the direction to face.

It is that indescribable unknowable "beyond" that draws men and women towards a destiny.

Those engaged in Avodah Zarah, talk about "God" all the time. Avodah Zarah (Worshiping Falsehoods) looks very frum.
