This morning I shared:
Here's this evening’s update:
The shooter must have been big mad to shoot someone in a store that shows off its 18 cameras at the entrance. It goes without saying that the police have excellent quality footage of the shooter.
That's why I thought it would be okay for me to share a greatly reduced quality video of the scene so you can see with me how incredible Francisco bravery really was. It's really incredibly impressive.
The shopkeeper had just been kicked in the face and was stunned as the large fellow drew his gun.
Francisco was near the open door and could have run out but he instantly jumped the attacker who was twice his size with a drawn and cocked weapon.
But as my video was uploading I realized that there's no reason in the world for me to risk doing that.
If your decision whether to subscribe is dependent upon seeing the reduced quality footage (too reduced to identify any faces) please ask.
Here's the DESCRIPTION for the now aborted video of Francisco’s heroism:
This is the homeless Mexican fellow who got shot trying to stop a gunman from killing the cashier.
I visited Francisco today as I said I would ("HERO SHOT!" video on this channel https://youtu.be/vLRY1iUAF7M )
He was very surprised and happy to see me. I'm pretty sure that I made him smile for the first time since he was shot. He was almost surprised that he was still able to smile.
The world is filled with Franciscos. Good harmless people down on their luck because God made them way too short or funny looking or foreign. People who do the right thing and suffer for it and nobody cares.
I can't solve everyone's problems and neither can you.
Why did the person have a gun? Why did he use it? Why doesn't anyone "snitch"? Why do the police not give a shit about Francisco? Or the reporter who said on TV that he was "being uncooperative"?
The part of society that makes the rules live far far far away from here.
They don't know and don't care either.
I *do* know and I *do* care.
And I must have an audience so that I can go talk to people from all sides while being openly filmed.
That is the answer.
Or at least it's a far more likely answer than the haphazard societal mood swings that currently reign.
Today like yesterday, all new subscribers to Our Yedidya Project should know that 50% of your first month's subscription will go to Francisco.
Please share this.
Honestly, this is the most that I can see myself comfortablely doing, and it's just the very least that society can do for a little foreigner who would have fought like hell and taken a bullet to defend any of us.
Thank you
