I started writing a letter here about the disgusting Israeli-Palestinian hostage negotiations that are due to start here in Cairo today and how I have a proven track record of being a more successful hostage negotiator and a more genuinely humane and caring person than the person grasping the Prime Minister’s swivel chair in Jerusalem.
I was going to share two relevant videos on the matter and, yet again, explain it all.
And I was going to point out that of course I am a guest of Egypt and would not do anything to embarrass my hosts but would only bring them international honor and glory for helping me to secure success and happiness for their neighbors, both Jewish and Muslim.
But our sages commanded us not to say what we know would not be heard so, as the careerist desk monkeys who covet their positions, salaries and dicks get to their unholy business of negotiating souls for souls, with hatred as currency — right here in the city I am currently stationed in — I will have to regard them as foreign as negotiating on a foreign planet in a different dimension.
If I had even a thousand paying Substack subscribers I would have a voice that even those ugly inhumane “negotiators” would respect and be forced to contend with. But, my dear friends, it's just us, and we are far less than 1,000.
May you be blessed for supporting me. I don't understand divine accounting but our sages say that when the few step in to a place where there ought to be many, they clean up and receive the reward that would have apportioned to all of those who should have been there but weren't.
If the opportunity opens and I do have global success in any of the many facets we seek, it will be thanks to you. Until then, we keep trying. I don't know how to spread the word about Yedidya without coming across as just another ugly careerist, but if you do know how, please give it a shot.
And please look out for #1, yourself.
You are an abundantly caring humane person in love with God and his creation. Give yourself a pat on the back and a few nice words. You deserve it.
May we be guided by Goodness & Truth to see the redemption of our beautiful but misguided world and to Delight in YHWH for all time.
Your friend,
Yedidya
