Jesus
There's no morality fable more Jewish than the story of Jesus from Nazareth.
The weight of it was more than any population could possibly handle so it remained for the nations of the world to adopt it as a focal point.
It being an import, the smells of its earliest salesmen seeped into the faith’s fabric.
The religious focal point so clearly defined was more for any nation to accept, never mind Vikings and Russians. So the salesmen dressed it up in Heaven, female sexual purity and a heavy dose of idolatry before passing it off as “…the real thing. Straight from Jerusalem I tell ya. Nothing changed.”
This was, of course, predicted by Jeremiah.
But the time has come for Jews to appreciate the legacy inherited by their estranged kin and for our estranged kin to be invited into our own fellowship of understanding.

P.S. This would have been the perspective of our Pharisee forebearers when news of Christianity came to them a hundred of years after Jesus.
Traveller: Did you hear the good news out of Galilee, Rabbi? There's this guy explaining it all! And it's all so simple! Yiddishkeit is back and it's beautiful and the whole world is streaming in to hear Dvar Hashem!
Rabbi: Baruch ata…Shehecheyanu v’Kiyimanu v’Higianu Lazman Hazeh!
Traveller: There's one catch. It's all stuffed into a golden avoidah zarah shaped like a murder cross…
