Nobody has any memory any more.

A popular blogger wrote a piece last week about the possiblity of the Vikings visiting the Azores.

It accrued hundreds of comments before I saw it and reminded everyone that the author had apparently forgotten that he’d already written more or less that exact same article just 2 years ago and that nearly all of the people currently commenting had made those same comments at that time as well.

I received some appreciative thanks, as well as shock from people who were astonished to find that they had completely forgotten about that article as well as their own comments on it, and that everybody else, including the author had also done so.

So you’ll forgive me for reminding you of Covidpocalypse as I’m wont to do from time to time.

At the tail end of Covidpocalypse some Germanic lady named Nina Jankowicz (think Gretchen Whitmer with a sharper chin) was appointed Misinformation Czar.

I recorded the following video at that time of an article by Ben Hecht regarding the importance of keeping cranks around.
