If depriving yourself of something superficial helps you focus on more important matters, such as on the welfare and happiness of yourself and all your fellow human divinities that's magnificent.

But depriving yourself without the end in mind is downright retarded.

Not only isn't it getting you closer to Emes& Shalom (GOD) but it's getting you closer to argument, strife, and physical violence.

You aren't supposed to suffer for holiness.

You are supposed to enjoy everything…
