What Jesus and Gandhi failed to realize is that everybody must put down their weapons simultaneously

But they were correct to believe that once everybody did so, no one would ever lift a weapon again.

The practical solution to this is an ever growing cadre of people who lay down their arms and their lies and their secrets while a larger body of people (those next in line to join THE FREE) commit themselves to enacting cruel public vengeance against the inevitable few who attempt to harm any of the sanctified FREE with arms, lies, or secrets.
