Luxor, Aswan... and beyond
I've heard Yahweh's point of view, I wonder what the other Gods have to say?
3 days ago (Footnote 1 ) I explained my counterintuitive decision to move to Egypt in the midst of the most insane local war since the Crusades, to engage - as the Founding Rabbi of Israel’s Hasbara - with the people whom you would think might be the least inclined to let me live (Footnote 2 .)
EDIT: The following was written and scheduled to be sent before I found out that the first Pharaonic Tomb uncovered since King Tut’s over 100 years ago was revealed TODAY.
The tomb belongs to Thutmose II.
By my reckoning, it’s 3502 years since The Jews were redeemed from Egypt and it is reasonable to assume that Thutmose II is the Pharaoh whose death (which ended the 18th Dynasty) briefly alleviated the servitude of the Jews and thus, awakened from their zombie state, became capable and worthy of salvation.
The name Moses/Moshe/Musa was a royal Egyptian appellation. When the daughter of Pharaoh saved the baby from the Nile she said, “(though he wasn't born to me) I have “Mosesed” him by saving him from the water”.
This was the era when Pharaohs names were often combinations of Mose/s (roughly, “divine son”) with that of an Egyptian deity. We don't know what deity’s name preceded the biblically-truncated name of Moshe/Mose, but Thutmose would be a good guess.
The rest continues as already written.
This past week — in over 10,000 synagogues around the globe — millions of Jews heeded The Testament of Sinai Revelation where God delivered The 10 Commandments to Moses and the Israelites.
In honor of that Torah reading, here is the complete playlist of videos I produced a few months ago, wherein I read Moses’ own recounting of the event from The Bible's original Hebrew — along with translating and explaining every word.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS
Since then I’ve explored the experience of Jewish Slavery and Redemption in Egypt and Sinai in very personal ways. At the anniversary and location of The First Command Given To Israel, to a bona fide miracle on the way to Mount Sinai — which I climbed on the night that my namesake Moses did, off in the desert, alone, without the aid of beast or light (Footnote 3 ).
But now that we’ve all heard Yahweh's take on that ancient kerfuffle, what do the other Gods have to say on the matter?
In the villages and temples moving southward through the desert into Sudan there are stories — uncovered and not yet uncovered — to be experienced and felt in the ancient villages, temples, and layers of earth undisturbed since the days of yore.
With just $5000 for requisite papers, security, and other necessities I’ll be exploring the area deeply. In ways nobody else ever does.
If you invest in this 3 week investigation TODAY, you’ll be joining me and my live exploration of Egypt’s deep south on MONDAY.

“Stranger in a strange land! — Or am I?”
Q: Why is Rabbi Rudner in Egypt?
A: It is near impossible to gain public attention for the most essential truths that everybody secretly knows but which the deranged god named Society prohibits to say.
“He Came For War and Left a Friend”
“The Life of Moses”
